〈DPRK in the World 19〉アジア・アゼルバイジャン

朝鮮は１６０カ国以上と国交を結び、各国とさまざまな分野で交流、協力関係を築いてきた。朝鮮は世界とどのようなつながりを持っているのか（①地域名・国名、②国交樹立年、③朝鮮大使館の有無、④当該国大使館の有無、⑤首脳及び代表団訪問、⑥エピソード）。

⑤２０１９年10月、最高人民会議常任委員会の崔竜海委員長を団長とする朝鮮代表団が第18回非同盟諸国首脳会議に参加するためアゼルバイジャンを訪問

⑥朝鮮とアゼルバイジャンは、非同盟運動や国際機関などの多国間枠組みを通じて協力関係を深めてきた。

朝鮮はアゼルバイジャンで行われた鉄道協力機構第40回会議（12年６月）、第５回世界通信社大会とアジア太平洋通信社機構第16回総会（16年11月）、非同盟運動外相会議（18年４月）にそれぞれ代表団を派遣。19年には非同盟諸国首脳会議に参加した崔竜海委員長が、アゼルバイジャンのイリハム・アリエフ大統領と面談。両者は経済や人道的分野の関係拡大について意見を交換した。

同大統領の父、ヘイダル・アリエフ第３代大統領はソ連政界で活動していた１９８５年に訪朝し、金日成主席が接見した。
