〈DPRK in the World 29〉アフリカ・セネガル

朝鮮は１６０カ国以上と国交を結び、各国とさまざまな分野で交流、協力関係を築いてきた。朝鮮は世界とどのようなつながりを持っているのか（①地域名・国名、②国交樹立年、③朝鮮大使館の有無、④当該国大使館の有無、⑤首脳及び代表団訪問、⑥エピソード）。

③外信によると、セネガルの首都ダカールの朝鮮大使館は２０２３年に閉鎖

⑤74年５月にセネガルのレオポール・セダール・サンゴール初代大統領、86年６月にアブドゥ・ディウフ大統領が訪朝し、金日成主席がそれぞれと接見

⑥朝鮮は国交樹立の２カ月後の72年11月、ダカールに大使館を開設。両国はその後、経済技術協力協定、貿易協定（74年）、両国間の文化・技術協議体の設立協定（86年）、情報交流協力協定（94年）などを締結した。国際舞台では主権尊重・内政不干渉の原則を堅持し、緊密に支持し合ってきた。ダカールにある高さ約40メートルの「アフリカ・ルネサンス記念碑」はセネガル人建築家が設計し、万寿台創作社が建設。２００６年に着工し、セネガル独立50周年に合わせて10年４月に正式公開された。
